I don’t know whether to install a fiberglass, gunite, or vinyl liner pool.  How do I decide which option is best?  Not all pools are created equal.  The following chart can help, but if you are still not sure which option is best, feel free to give us a call.  We are happy to discuss options based on your budget, lifestyle, and vision for your outdoor living space.

Should I install a saltwater or chlorine pool?  While saltwater pools have a slightly higher upfront cost, they save time, money, and hassle year after year.  This is because the salt cells convert into natural chlorine.  This eliminates the need for constant chemical balancing, as well as eliminating the chemical smell and irritation of chemical chlorine on the skin and eyes.  Saltwater pols are also more eco-friendly, using fewer synthetic chemicals to achieve the same results.  Click here to learn more.

How long does it take to install a pool?  If all conditions are favorable, pool installation of an entry level fiberglass pool typically takes 3-4 weeks.  Some conditions can extend the time.  For example, pool installation times can vary based on the type and size of the pool.  The condition, shape, and size of the yard also plays a role, particularly if additional structures or retaining walls are required for proper structural grading.  Weather conditions can play a role, especially those that effect soil conditions such as significant rainfall or freezing that make excavation difficult.  Permitting can also affect timelines in certain areas.  If landscaping or hardscaping is involved, this usually adds a week or two to the overall timeline.  Contact us today to start your free consultation.
