At Meramec Pools & Outdoors, we believe that the best memories begin in your backyard with those who matter most…by the pool, around the firepit, under the stars. Our team enjoys the outdoors and finds personal fulfillment enjoying quality time with family and friends, which is why providing those same experiences for our fellow St. Louisans matters.

We’re a St. Louis-based team with deep roots in this community. Meramec was founded in 2019 as a way to build something meaningful for our families and the people we serve throughout the metro-area. As our children grow and our life continues to speed up, we feel it’s critical to slow down, make room for connection, and be present with those who matter most. Sometimes the connection is a personal family gathering focused on quality time, while the next break in the action is a backyard full of neighbors. Regardless of your vision, we are excited to turn your ideas into a reality.

Brad Burns

I grew up just outside the St. Louis Metro area on a family farm that had been in our family for over 100 years. From an early age, I learned the value of hard work, keeping your word, and helping your neighbors—principles that have guided me throughout my life.

Those lessons became the foundation for building Meramec—from a simple idea into a customer-focused company committed to best-in-class service. I believe the outdoor spaces of a home bring people together and help create lasting memories. Some of my favorite moments are spent with my wife and our five kids, whether we’re swimming in the pool, playing backyard sports, or just enjoying time together. That sense of connection was a major inspiration behind starting Meramec.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve founded and grown five companies from the ground up, all rooted in the same core values: deliver exceptional service, offer fair pricing, and always stand behind your work.

Tim Tolle

I grew up in a small farming community in Central Illinois. I came from humble beginnings but was blessed with wonderful parents who created countless memories for my siblings and I to enjoy the outdoors. I joined the Meramec Team with a passion to help shape a customer experience that brings the same level of joy I have with the outdoors.

After more than two decades in Corporate America, I felt the need to rebalance my life’s work and focus on providing families with a positive experience that will last for years to come. I have always loved the water, enjoyed quality time surrounding a fire pit, or spending valued time outside teaching sports to our kids. My wife and I are always up for a great hike, a hot summer day on the lake, or a steady fire watching Cardinals playoff baseball in the fall. Our 3 children keep life exciting and non-stop and we are enjoying the ride. It’s a privilege to be part of this team and I am honored to be able to serve our current and future clients.

In partnership with our ownership team, our seasoned project managers, and the crew who works tirelessly in the field, we are carrying forward decades of craftsmanship and customer care. Dan Leipart

I am a loving husband and the father of 3 beautiful girls who like to keep me on my toes. I was raised in the Chicago land area where I worked in the family business from the age of 7. My parents inspired a strong work ethic and respect into my DNA at a young age. In the early 90’s our family moved to Arizona and purchased a pool maintenance company. Arizona really brought out my love for nature and natural beauty along with the love of water. I moved to Missouri in the late 90’s and started in the construction trade in remodeling and new construction. I later joined the union and poured thousands of miles of roads, bridges, and sidewalks but it was too impersonal and uncreative. I decided to go out on my own doing residential where I could make people’s dreams come to life one rock at a time. Shortly after I founded Meramec Hardscapes and we soon incorporated my love of water and nature into Meramec Pools. I had worked with other pool companies in the past and I wanted our company to stand out from the rest. That is why we do all the aspects of the project in-house.
